After their 3-1 win over Southampton, Arsenalās top scorer Kai Havertz hurt his knees, which is bad news. āKnee problemsā have kept forward Kai Havertz out of Germanyās two games during the October international break.
As of now, the 25-year-old has been in great shape this season. On Saturday, he scored Arsenalās sixth goal in 10 games as they came back to beat Southampton. Cameron Archer put the visitors ahead at the Emirates, but Havertz scored to tie the game for the Gunners. Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka then finished the comeback.
Havertz, on the other hand, is said to have hurt his knee and will miss both of Germanyās National League games over the next two weeks.
Before meeting the Netherlands next Monday, Julian Nagelsmann will take a trip to Bosnia and Herzegovina on Friday.
The German Football Federation said that Kai Havertz would not be able to play in the future international games against the Netherlands and Bosnia and Herzegovina because of knee problems. Instead of Havertz, national coach Julian Nagelsmann chose Jonathan Burkardt. Kai, get better soon! We hope to see you, Jonathan
Havertz, on the other hand, has been great since becoming Arsenalās first-choice No. 9 six months ago. He is one of their most important players right now, and Arteta gave him a lot of credit in his press conference after the game.
The forward has scored 15 goals and set up six others in his last 24 games for Arsenal. āYou can tell [his confidence has grown] because he runs with the ball when he gets it,ā Arteta said. When he holds the ball and stands in the box, it looks like heās on high press or going full gas.
āHeās an attacking midfielder who plays as a nine. Thatās how smart he is at football: you have no idea where he is.ā Now his goal is āIām going to win the game, Iām going to do it,ā which is something else.
