Al Hilal Saudi Arabia is monitoring the signing of Real Madrid star as a replacement for Neymar

The Saudi Al-Hilal team aims to finalize a significant deal with Real Madrid during the upcoming summer transfer window. They are disappointed with Brazilian star Neymar, who played only a few matches before an injury sidelined him for an entire year. Vinicius Junior, the striker from Real Madrid, is a primary target for the Saudi League in the summer of 2025. According to the Spanish newspaper “Marca,” Al-Hilal is keen to make Vinicius the new star of the Roshan League, especially after the unsuccessful acquisition of Neymar.

The newspaper reported that the Saudi League plans to make another attempt to sign Vinicius, whose current market value is 200 million euros, according to Transfer Market. They intend to reopen negotiations in the summer of 2025. However, Real Madrid remains calm due to a release clause of 100 million euros and the player’s commitment to his contract.

The source also noted that the chances of Vinicius joining the Saudi League appear slim, as he is focused on various challenges with Real Madrid this season. Al-Hilal is eager to add Vinicius to their squad, especially following the unsuccessful Neymar deal, but Neymar is expected to return to play in early 2025. The remainder of the current season will be critical in assessing Neymar’s performance and future with the team.

Additionally, last summer, there was an attempt by the Saudi League to sign Vinicius for Al-Ahli Jeddah, but those negotiations fell through.

Al-Hilal is reportedly aiming to secure a major transfer from Real Madrid by signing Vinicius Junior during the summer of 2025. This move comes as the Saudi club faces disappointment over Neymar’s injury, which has sidelined him for a year after only a few matches. According to the Spanish newspaper *Marca*, Vinicius has become a prime target for the Saudi League, particularly for Al-Hilal, following the unsuccessful acquisition of Neymar.

Vinicius, whose current market value is estimated at 200 million euros, is seen as a potential star for the Roshan League. Despite Al-Hilal’s interest and their plans to resume negotiations, Real Madrid remains calm due to Vinicius’ strong commitment to the club and a hefty release clause of 100 million euros. Although the likelihood of Vinicius moving to the Saudi League seems low, Al-Hilal is keen to bring him in after Neymar’s injury. Neymar is expected to return to action in early 2025, and his performance for the remainder of the season will be key in determining his future with the team.

Previously, a similar effort by Al-Ahli Jeddah to sign Vinicius in the summer of 2024 did not materialize, adding to the intrigue surrounding the Saudi league’s ambition to attract top talent.
