“He is one of the best players I have seen and I will love to play with him again and again. He is so good and ge always finds me in the pitch”-Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al Nassr to offer Man Utd star stunning £50m-a-year deal to convince him to leave.

Al Nassr, a prominent club in the Saudi Pro League, is reportedly planning a monumental move by offering a staggering £50 million annual salary to lure a Manchester United player to their ranks. Manchester United’s season has been marked by ups and downs, despite a recent convincing 3-0 victory over West Ham. However, they find themselves trailing eight points behind the top four teams in the league. With Sir Jim Ratcliffe and Ineos poised to take over football operations at Old Trafford in the upcoming summer, significant changes are anticipated for the club in the near future.

One of the players likely to depart is Raphael Varane, whose contract with United expires at the end of the season. Interestingly, United has chosen not to activate a 12-month extension clause in his contract, indicating a potential departure. Although Varane is reportedly open to staying at United, the club is seeking to renegotiate his contract with terms that offer a lower salary compared to his current £350,000-a-week wages. Consequently, Varane appears destined to leave United at the end of the season as a free agent. However, the absence of a transfer fee could pave the way for Varane to earn even more than his current wage if he accepts a lucrative move to Saudi Arabia, particularly to Al Nassr.

Al Nassr, led by Cristiano Ronaldo, is purportedly keen on securing Varane’s services with an astonishing annual salary offer of £50 million. Ronaldo and Varane share a history as former teammates at Real Madrid and briefly reunited at Old Trafford for 18 months. Ronaldo’s groundbreaking transfer to Al Nassr in January 2023 played a pivotal role in attracting other high-profile stars to the emerging Saudi league, including Sadio Mane and Aymeric Laporte, who also play for Al Nassr.

Meanwhile, Manchester United is actively looking to reinforce their defensive lineup in the summer transfer window. Among their targets are Jean-Clair Todibo and Jarrod Branthwaite, both of whom are reportedly on the club’s wishlist to bolster their central defensive options.
