Liverpool Football Club will soon talk to three of their key players—Mo Salah, Virgil van Dijk, and Trent Alexander-Arnold—about what they want to do in the future.

Pete O’Rourke from Football Insider mentioned on the Inside Track podcast that these players’ contracts will end in the summer of 2025.

The situation with Mo Salah isn’t very clear yet. There have been some unclear remarks about van Dijk’s future. Things have also become more complicated because Real Madrid is interested in Alexander-Arnold. After playing in the Euros final with England, Alexander-Arnold is thinking about his long-term future.

Right now, only Mo Salah has come back to the AXA training centre to start pre-season training. Van Dijk and Alexander-Arnold are still on their post-tournament holidays but are expected to return soon.

What will happen in these discussions, especially about Alexander-Arnold’s worries about a future without manager Jurgen Klopp, is still unknown.

Even with these uncertainties, there is hope about van Dijk’s future. People expect that the 33-year-old will sign a new contract, which will ease worries about him leaving the club.
