Al-Nassr Target Antony with Man Utd Open to Sale

Manchester United is relaxed with the thought of selling any of its player, Antony this summer with Saudi Arabian team Al-Nassr showing interest in the Brazilian winger as per latest update.

Pete O’Rourke from Football Insider has explained that Al-Nassr is now eyeing Antony after they missed out on Raphinha of Barcelona. The Saudi Pro league has been active in the transfer market after PIF took stakes in Al-Ittihad, Al-Ahli, Al-Hilal, and Al-Nassr football clubs.

Other stars have shifted their bases to the Middle East; however, Cristiano Ronaldo’s transfer to United for Al-Nassr was the usual for famous football players.

Other stars, N’Gelo Kante, Karim Benzema, Jordan Henderson among them have since joined the trend following mouth watering offers. United signed Antony for £86 million but the Brazilian has had a torrid time since coming to England to play for the Red Devils.

Nevertheless, his results thus far do not seem to justify his celebrity clientele, but one has to agree that he indeed fits the bill of what Al-Nassr wants; younger talents in their prime.

United officials have apparently told Antony that he should start looking for a new club; Europe’s top tier does not care. Presumably, Al-Nassr can capture Antony on an emission loan, by agreement of which his wages would be completely compensated, fitting into the new transfer strategy.
