Just like when Benzema left Real Madrid last summer, there are signs that he might also leave Al-Ittihad. Reports this week say he missed a club meeting before the pre-season training camp, so he couldn’t join the tour. Chelsea might be interested in getting either player in the next few weeks. It’s mentioned that Armando Broja might leave, either permanently or on loan, if a new striker, like one of the mentioned players, comes in this winter.

Chelsea’s forwards have had a hard time scoring, especially with Christopher Nkunku dealing with injuries. Even though the team has had some good games recently, the wins have been close, showing they need more attacking strength.

Right now, Cole Palmer, who plays as an attacking midfielder, is the top scorer with nine goals this season. Nicolas Jackson has scored seven goals, but there are concerns about how consistently he can score at this point in his career. Broja and Christopher Nkunku, the other attacking choices, have only scored three goals together. Nkunku has struggled to stay fit since joining Stamford Bridge.

Even though Benzema and Firmino might be getting older, their combined experience of 603 goals and winning trophies could bring valuable knowledge and firepower to West London for the rest of the season. We’re not sure how much Mauricio Pochettino wants new signings, as he mentioned he’s ready to talk with the sporting director or owners about it.
