BREAKING NEWS: A football agent is taking legal action against Chelsea, claiming the club owes him money

Football agent Saif Alrubie has filed a legal claim against Chelsea Football Club and former director Marina Granovskaia, seeking compensation related to Kurt Zouma’s 2021 transfer to West Ham United.

Alrubie claims he had an agreement to receive a commission if Zouma, who was sold to West Ham for €35 million, left Chelsea for more than €30 million.
On Friday, Alrubie submitted his case to the London Commercial Court, with Sky Sports reporting that the disputed sum could reach €3.3 million.Earlier this year, in April, Alrubie was cleared of allegations that he sent a threatening email to Granovskaia.

Now, he is pursuing legal action against both Granovskaia and Chelsea FC.

Expressing his frustration over the situation, Alrubie remarked, “The last two-and-a-half years have been extremely difficult.

As a longtime Chelsea fan and having enjoyed a positive business relationship with the club for years, it’s disappointing that I’ve had to resort to legal action. I sincerely hope we can resolve this issue.”

Alrubie also voiced optimism that Chelsea’s current leadership, including Todd Boehly and Behdad Eghbali, will take steps to resolve the matter and bring closure for all parties involved.
