BREAKING NEWS: “We are the best club in the world and I need one of the best players available who plays just like me” Xabi Alonso makes huge demand for Highly talented Midfielder as Real Madrid battle EPL Clubs for his signature.

Real Madrid have had a tough time controlling the midfield in many of their important matches this season. Even though fixing the defense is still their top priority in the transfer market, the club also wants to bring in a new midfielder to support their future manager, Xabi Alonso. They are trying to sign some big-name players, but it looks like they are not the favorites to land them. However, a new player has recently come into the picture as a possible signing.
One of their main targets, Martin Zubimendi from Real Sociedad, is likely heading to Arsenal. This is even though Zubimendi admires Xabi Alonso. Another star midfielder, Rodrigo Hernandez (also known as Rodri) from Manchester City, seems out of reach for Madrid at the moment. Because of this, the club is now looking at another option—Tijjani Reijnders, who currently plays for AC Milan.
According to Spanish radio station RadioMarca, Real Madrid are now very interested in signing Reijnders this summer. The 26-year-old Dutch midfielder is one of the top players on their list, even though he recently extended his contract with AC Milan in March.
One reason Madrid are hopeful is that AC Milan might not qualify for European competitions next season, especially the UEFA Champions League. If that happens, Milan could be more willing to sell him at a lower price.
Reijnders caught the attention of Real Madrid during a game last November, when AC Milan beat them 3-1 at the Santiago Bernabéu. In that match, Reijnders played very well and even scored the third goal for Milan. His ability to get into the opponent’s penalty box and contribute with goals is something that Madrid really likes about him.
This is not the first time Reijnders has been linked with big clubs. Last summer, FC Barcelona had shown interest in signing him. Then in April, Italian news sources reported that Real Madrid had also started to seriously consider him.
Now, Manchester City have reportedly made Reijnders one of their top transfer targets as well. Some reports even suggest that City might offer around €70 million for him, as coach Pep Guardiola is very interested in adding him to the squad.
Chelsea have also been mentioned in connection with Reijnders, but it seems they are not planning to make a move for him this summer.
If Real Madrid truly want to sign Reijnders, they may have to spend a lot of money, especially if they want to beat other big clubs like Manchester City in the race for his signature.
