Chelsea Told to ‘Find a Way’ to Cancel Jadon Sancho Transfer Deal with Manchester United

Chelsea has been advised to ‘find a way’ to cancel the transfer deal they have with Manchester United for Jadon Sancho.

Last summer, Chelsea signed England international Jadon Sancho on a season-long loan from United. As part of the agreement, Chelsea was set to buy Sancho permanently for between £20-25 million next summer.

Sancho was originally bought by Manchester United for £73 million in 2021 from Borussia Dortmund. However, the 24-year-old struggled to find his best form at Old Trafford.

Hoping for a fresh start at Chelsea, a club he supported as a child, Sancho has only scored two goals this season.

Former Manchester United and England player Paul Parker believes Chelsea may regret the move to sign Sancho and criticized him for a recent comment about his parent club.

After Marcus Rashford’s Instagram post about his debut for Aston Villa, Sancho commented ‘freedom,’ a remark that seemed to criticize Manchester United.

Parker shared his thoughts with MyBettingSites, saying, “Jadon Sancho comes across as a weak player who is blaming others for his problems. He needs to focus on improving his game instead of making excuses.”

He continued, “It was a bad move to try and shift attention away from his own performance. Chelsea fans are not impressed, and the club will likely regret having to buy him.”

Parker also warned Rashford to avoid getting involved with Sancho’s issues. “Sancho is trying to pull others into his problems, but he needs to focus on himself,” he added. “Chelsea will likely try to cancel the deal or find a way out of it. It’s clear that Sancho’s behavior is making things worse for him.”

Many fans and experts believe Chelsea will try to move on from Sancho as soon as possible, but finding a new club for him might be difficult due to his recent struggles.

Parker concluded, “Sancho needs to look in the mirror and take responsibility for his situation instead of blaming others.”
If Chelsea is already looking for a way out of Sancho’s deal, it speaks volumes about how poorly things are going for him. His struggles at Manchester United were well-documented, but it seems like the same issues—lack of intensity, inconsistency, and questionable mentality—are resurfacing at Stamford Bridge.

The “freedom” comment under Rashford’s post also doesn’t help his case. Instead of focusing on turning his career around, it feels like he’s still caught up in the drama surrounding his United exit. If Chelsea does back out of the deal, do you think Sancho could still have a future at United, or is his time there completely done?
