“I need assurance….”: Newcastle in-form hitman Alexander Issak reveals he’s ready to join Arsenal only ‘ON ONE CONDITION’ after recent POSITIVE talks with Mikel Arteta over a potential switch to the Emirates

Arsenal seems to be eyeing Alexander Isak this summer, willing to splash a hefty £100 million for his talents. Interestingly, they had the chance to nab him for £37 million cheaper less than two years ago, but Newcastle United swooped in and secured him for £63 million in 2022. Since then, Isak has been on fire, netting 29 goals and setting up four more in his 60 appearances for the club.

Back when Isak made his move to St James’ Park, Arsenal reportedly had their sights set on him. However, they missed the boat, and now, the price tag for the Swedish striker keeps soaring as he evolves into one of the Premier League’s most lethal scorers.

As fate would have it, Arsenal might have a second shot at recruiting Isak as Newcastle faces financial pressure, prompting them to consider offloading players to balance the books. Isak could be one of the casualties, with reports suggesting a staggering £100 million asking price. Tottenham Hotspur is also rumored to be eyeing him.

Despite Newcastle’s potential summer exodus, manager Eddie Howe remains adamant about retaining his prized asset. Howe expressed his admiration for Isak’s talent, emphasizing his importance to the team. Isak himself has kept mum about his future, acknowledging the ongoing speculation but remaining focused on his current stint with Newcastle.

Meanwhile, Arsenal is actively hunting for a striker this summer. Manager Mikel Arteta is reportedly seeking versatility upfront, with Gabriel Jesus possibly on the radar as well. The transfer window promises to be an intriguing one, with Isak’s future hanging in the balance amidst the swirling transfer rumors.
