INJURY CRISIS at Old Trafford?!

Seven Players May Miss Man Utd vs Tottenham Premier League Match Due to Injuries

Both Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur could be without key players in today’s Premier League matchup due to injury issues.

United will host Spurs at Old Trafford, looking to recover from recent draws. Erik ten Hag’s team has recorded two consecutive draws in all competitions, including a recent Europa League match against FC Twente.

Last weekend, they played to a goalless stalemate against Crystal Palace, leaving them in 11th place in the Premier League with seven points from five matches. A victory over Tottenham could elevate United to eighth place, reducing the gap to the top four to just three points.

Injuries have impacted United significantly this season. Leny Yoro and Victor Lindelof have yet to feature due to their injuries.

Yoro suffered a metatarsal fracture during pre-season, with his recovery expected to extend until November. Lindelof, who has been managing a toe injury, has returned to training and may be available for the Spurs match.

Tyrell Malacia is also nearing a return after being sidelined for over a year due to a knee injury. His last match was in May 2023, and he could be ready to play next month.

Luke Shaw is unavailable as well, having sustained a calf injury during pre-season. There is hope that the England international could be back after the October international break.

Tottenham is also dealing with injury concerns, particularly with captain Heung-Min Son. He was substituted in the second half of Spurs’ Europa League victory over Qarabag and remains a doubt for the clash against United.

Additionally, Spurs will be without Richarlison and Wilson Odobert. Richarlison has yet to play this season due to a summer injury, while Odobert has missed the last two matches with a hamstring issue. In today’s Premier League match between Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur, both teams are facing significant injury concerns that could affect their lineups.
