Football expert Thierry Henry from BBC has suggested that Arsenal should consider signing Dominic Solanke from Bournemouth in January to strengthen their attack. After their recent loss to West Ham United, Arsenal has slipped from the top spot in the league, trailing two points behind Liverpool.

Many people believe that Arsenal needs a reliable goal-scorer to have a shot at winning the Premier League title this season. The defeat against West Ham highlighted their struggle to score despite making 30 attempts on goal. Gabriel Jesus played as the center-forward in that game, but despite having two excellent chances, he couldn’t find the net, admitting that scoring goals isn’t his strong suit.

Eddie Nketiah was brought in during the second half, but he didn’t make a significant impact. In the wake of this disappointing defeat, there are reports that Arsenal is considering intensifying their efforts to sign a new striker in January, with Ivan Toney as their main target.

Instead, Henry suggested that Arsenal should focus on acquiring Dominic Solanke from Bournemouth to strengthen their attack.

According to Henry, Solanke, who stands at 6ft 1in tall, has had an impressive season, scoring 12 goals and providing one assist in 18 league appearances. This makes him a promising candidate to enhance Arsenal’s attacking prowess.
