Man United appear to have won the battle to sign defender, as he heads to the UK for a physical.

Lille defender Leny Yoro is due to fly to the United Kingdom for a medical with Manchester United in order to seal his move to Old Trafford.

Erik ten Hag and his recruitment staff have made it a high priority to sign another center-back during the summer transfer window, after both teenage defender Willy Kambwala and veteran Raphael Varane left the club this summer.

The Red Devils have already signed striker Joshua Zirkzee this summer to remedy their goal-scoring issues, and they are now looking to sign the highly regarded centre-back.According to The Athletic’s David Ornstein, Yoro is heading to the United Kingdom for a medical examination.
