Man Utd fans are in meltdown after spotting Alejandro Garnacho’s agent’s post during Chelsea vs Wolves

The Blues went 1-0 up against the Molineux outfit at Stamford Bridge after Tosin Adarabioyo scored his first Premier League goal for his new club.
The former Manchester City academy player’s strike was initially chalked off for offside before a VAR review led to the decision being reversed in the 24th minute.
Matt Doherty equalised on the stroke of half-time following an error from Robert Sanchez, before Marc Cucurella put Chelsea back in the lead and Noni Madueke made it 3-1 with his fourth goal against Wolves this season.
Garnacho, a top target for Antonio Conte’s Napoli, has been linked with a surprise switch to the Enzo Maresca’s side in recent times.
And the Argentina international agent only fuelled speculation by posting a picture of him watching the game from the stands.
Fabrizio Romano shared the image on his account on X, formerly known as Twitter – leading to quite the meltdown from United supporters.

One fan on X replied: “If he goes to Chelsea it is the biggest betrayal ever.”
Another vented: “Glazers weren’t this bad… INEOS is selling one of our best academy prospect to raise some money, since they can’t spend a thing from their own pockets.”
A third said: “My head and heart aren’t ready for this.”
A fourth user added: “WE DO NOT WANT THIS.”
A final person fumed: “This is a huge mistake by us, once again.”
Garnacho is believed to be valued at around £70 million by United and the figure proposed Napoli is said to be a lot less than what the Red Devils believe he is worth.
Paul Scholes wouldn’t be concerned if Garnacho was to leave
Because he is an academy graduate, Garnacho counts as a pure profit sale on the balance sheet – which is appealing for PSR (Profit and Sustainability) purposes.
Kobbie Mainoo and Marcus Rashford are also in the same situation, and fellow academy product Paul Scholes weighed in on exit talk involving Garnacho.
“United can probably get better than Garnacho,” Scholes said on TNT Sports during coverage of Manchester United vs Southampton.

“Although he’s young and there’s more to come, he’s scruffy in his technique at times and his decision making at times is really poor. I wouldn’t be worried if they sold him.
“But Mainoo, I would be offended by that.
“The lad [Garnacho] is absolutely capable, there’s no doubt about that, but finding him a position in this team has been a struggle.”
After making the breakthrough in the 2022/23 campaign, Garnacho has gone on to play 188 times for United, scoring 23 goals – including strikes in the FA Cup and Community Shield finals.
Manchester United fans are deeply concerned following speculation about Alejandro Garnacho’s future, fueled by his agent’s social media activity. Garnacho, a pivotal academy graduate, has been linked to a possible move to Napoli or even Chelsea, sparking outrage and fears of losing another homegrown talent.
During Chelsea’s 3-1 victory over Wolves at Stamford Bridge, Garnacho’s agent posted a photo from the stands, which was widely shared, including by journalist Fabrizio Romano. This intensified rumors, especially as Garnacho has already attracted interest from Antonio Conte’s Napoli, with Napoli reportedly undervaluing the winger compared to United’s £70 million valuation.
Fans took to social media to express their frustrations, particularly targeting the club’s ownership under INEOS, accusing them of prioritizing financial sustainability over retaining talent. Many view Garnacho as integral to United’s future, with his 188 appearances yielding 23 goals, including key contributions in major finals.
Interestingly, Paul Scholes has taken a different stance, suggesting Garnacho is replaceable, highlighting his inconsistent technique and decision-making. Scholes emphasized the importance of keeping other academy players, such as Kobbie Mainoo, over Garnacho.
With Garnacho’s agent’s actions and the ongoing rumors, the situation has left United supporters divided and anxious about the club’s direction and handling of young talent.
