MONDAY MORNING NEWS: Saudi Arabia are set to hand Arsenal a ‘perfect’ transfer window after a whopping sum of almost £130M was offered to Arsenal in exchange for FOUR Arsenal stars- No other PL club earned up to 100M from sales this summer- Mikel Arteta to decide

Arsenal could be on the verge of a financial windfall, thanks to an enticing offer from Saudi Arabian clubs. A staggering sum of nearly £130 million has been proposed in exchange for four of Arsenal’s players. This potential deal would significantly boost Arsenal’s transfer budget, surpassing the earnings of any other Premier League club this summer, none of which have made £100 million from sales. Now, it’s up to Arsenal’s manager, Mikel Arteta, to decide on this lucrative opportunity.

Arsenal may be looking to follow in Liverpool’s footsteps by leveraging the interest from Saudi Arabian clubs to bolster Mikel Arteta’s squad. Liverpool recently sold their captain, Jordan Henderson, and his midfield partner, Fabinho, to Saudi Arabian teams, netting £52 million. This impressive financial boost has surely caught the attention of other Premier League clubs, including Arsenal.

Arsenal has already spent £200 million this summer and will likely need to sell some fringe players before they can make any more significant purchases. According to Express Sport, there are four players that Arteta and the club’s technical director, Edu, are hoping to sell for a combined total of £130 million to Saudi Arabian teams.

Kieran Tierney

Kieran Tierney has seen his playing time diminish under Mikel Arteta, with Oleksandr Zinchenko often being preferred at left-back. Although Tierney’s talent is undeniable, Arteta favors a defender who can seamlessly transition into a midfield role, which is not Tierney’s strength.

While clubs like Newcastle and Celtic have shown interest in Tierney, they have not met Arsenal’s £30 million asking price. However, this amount is insignificant for Saudi Arabian teams, who have been willing to spend big on established stars like Tierney.

Albert Sambi Lokonga

Albert Sambi Lokonga was left out of Arsenal’s pre-season tour in the US, indicating that he hasn’t made a lasting impression on Arteta. Lokonga is expected to leave the Emirates this summer, with Burnley being his most likely destination to reunite with his former Anderlecht boss, Vincent Kompany.

There is still uncertainty about whether Arsenal would prefer a permanent transfer or a loan deal for Lokonga. If a permanent move is preferred, Saudi Arabian clubs could easily outbid Burnley and help Arsenal recover most of the £15 million they spent on him in 2021. Arsenal reportedly turned down a £7 million offer from Monaco in January, but a fee closer to £10 million might convince them to part with the 23-year-old.

Thomas Partey

Thomas Partey has already attracted interest from the Middle East, especially after the arrival of Declan Rice, which threatens his position in the team. With two years left on his contract, Arsenal must decide whether to offer him a new deal as he approaches his thirties.

This summer might be Arsenal’s last chance to secure a significant transfer fee for Partey, with Saudi clubs showing the most interest, despite some attention from Juventus. A bid of around £40 million could be enough to tempt Arsenal to sell, similar to the deal that saw Fabinho move to Al-Ittihad.

Eddie Nketiah

Despite Gabriel Jesus missing the start of the season due to injury, Eddie Nketiah might still leave the Emirates as he seeks to be a first-choice striker elsewhere. He is not interested in a loan move.

Inter Milan considered Arsenal’s £50 million asking price for Nketiah too high and have instead turned their attention to West Ham’s Gianluca Scamacca. However, as one of the most promising young strikers on the market, Nketiah could attract the attention of Saudi Arabian teams eager to sign a highly sought-after Arsenal forward.

In conclusion, Arsenal’s potential £130 million deal with Saudi Arabian clubs could provide a significant financial boost, allowing Mikel Arteta to further strengthen his squad. The decision now rests with Arteta and the club’s management on whether to proceed with this lucrative opportunity.
