Perez motivates Mbappe with exciting message before Real Madrid match tomorrow
Florentino Perez, Real Madrid’s president, reached out with words of encouragement to French striker Kylian Mbappe after the match against Valladolid in the second round of La Liga. Mbappe had been unable to score in the first two league matches, including the game against Valladolid at the Santiago Bernabeu, which Real Madrid won 3-0.
According to the Spanish network Defensa Central, Perez made sure to visit the locker room after the Valladolid match to congratulate the team on their first La Liga victory of the season, following a draw with Real Mallorca. The report states that Perez had personal conversations with several players, including Mbappe, whom he encouraged by saying: “You came very close to scoring multiple times today… You’ll definitely score in the next match.”
Mbappe had joined Real Madrid for free this summer following the expiration of his contract with Paris Saint-Germain. He netted his first goal for the club in the 2-0 victory over Atalanta in the European Super Cup.
