They sacked my good friend Erik ten Hag and now I can see they’re already trying to replicate it with Ruben Amorim, he must act pretty quickly by removing them from his squad”: Former Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp has named TWO more players who need to leave Man United for Amorim to succeed

Ruben Amorim has been urged to sell two more Manchester United players after Marcus Rashford.
Rashford is expected to leave Old Trafford after admitting last month he was ‘ready for a new challenge’.
The England forward has been at his boyhood club since the age seven and scored 30 goals in Erik ten Hag’s first season in charge.

But Rashford’s numbers have dropped off since an impressive 2022-23 campaign and a move away from Manchester United appears to be the best option for all parties.

Arsenal and West Ham have shown interest in signing Rashford but the 27-year-old is expected to move abroad, possibly on loan before leaving United on a permanent transfer in the summer.
Former Manchester United defender Paul Parker hopes Rashford is not the only player packing his bags during the remainder of the January transfer window and says Antony and Christian Eriksen should also be offloaded.
Asked which players Amorim should look to move on this month, Parker told Metro via the home of WoW Gold, said: ‘I think Antony needs to go.

‘Any player that the manager doesn’t believe in has to go. They’ve got a young manager in that has proved himself at a big club in Portugal, come in with his own ideas and they’ve got him in for a reason very quickly and they have to back him on the players he wants to work with.
And the ones that he doesn’t want to work with, or the ones that he knows aren’t going to suit him at any time in his tenure, you have to get them out.
Because they’re not going to conform to anything, they already know they’re not going to have any great involvement. If they’re there for too long, resentment will build up.

‘Antony is thousands of miles from home, his ego is going to mean he wants to play. Everything thing about him, he’s missing adulation, but being around at Manchester United and not being involved is not a good thing and it will wear on him, as I know too well.

‘He’s not going to get a lot in the transfer market, and he’s going to have to take a loss on the fee paid, but hopefully he can get a little bit to build towards something that he wants.

‘I think Eriksen 100% has to move on now, and find somewhere that he can play regularly.
At the age that he is at now, it is better for him to keep playing games that the stop-start where he can’t get himself going. Maybe he can cut down on the training, but he needs to be playing games.’

Another Manchester United midfielder, Casemiro, has also been linked with a move away from the Theatre of Dreams but Parker is keen for him to stay.

‘Casemiro I like, and in theory he can play in that midfield, but he’s going to have to have legs around him,’ Parker added.

‘H reads it, nicks it off players toes and still has that quality in his pass. If you have better quality around him, you’ll see better from him.
We saw that and as soon as there was a change in manager, we immediately saw that change in Casemiro.
Marcus Rashford’s impending departure from Manchester United has sparked discussions about further squad changes under manager Ruben Amorim. Rashford, who admitted he is “ready for a new challenge,” seems likely to leave Old Trafford, with Arsenal, West Ham, and foreign clubs reportedly interested. Rashford’s decline in form since his 30-goal campaign in 2022-23 has fueled speculation that a move could benefit both player and club.

Former United defender Paul Parker has suggested that Antony and Christian Eriksen should also be sold to facilitate Amorim’s rebuild. Parker argues that Amorim, brought in for his fresh ideas and success in Portugal, needs the club’s backing to shape the squad according to his vision. He emphasized the importance of offloading players who may not fit Amorim’s system to prevent resentment and stagnation within the squad.

### Parker’s Key Points:
1. **Antony**
– Parker believes Antony’s time at United has been underwhelming and that the Brazilian winger would benefit from a move.
– Antony’s limited involvement and high expectations could lead to frustration, and Parker advises the club to sell him, even at a financial loss, to reinvest in more suitable players.

2. **Christian Eriksen**
– Eriksen, at 32, needs consistent playing time to maintain form, which he struggles to get at United.
– Parker suggests the midfielder move to a club where he can play regularly, even if it means adjusting his training regimen.

3. **Casemiro**
– While Casemiro has also been linked with a move away, Parker wants him to stay.
– He believes Casemiro’s quality and ability to read the game make him valuable, provided United surround him with younger, more dynamic midfielders.

### Amorim’s Vision for United
Amorim faces the challenge of reshaping Manchester United’s squad to align with his philosophy. Parker underscores the importance of removing players who don’t fit Amorim’s plans, both to maintain harmony in the dressing room and to create opportunities for new arrivals.

The January transfer window could prove pivotal for United, with Rashford’s departure potentially marking the start of significant changes under Amorim’s tenure. Whether Antony, Eriksen, or other players follow Rashford out of the club remains to be seen, but the focus is clearly on creating a squad capable of delivering consistent success.
