VERY SAD Raheem Sterling news has been announced this evening before the International international BREAK and this may be the end of his career
Gary Neville has cautioned Chelsea outsider Raheem Sterling against joining either Arsenal or Manchester United.
Before the transfer market shuts, Chelsea’s new manager has warned the former Manchester City player several times that he is surplus to needs and would be better off choosing another team.
Although Neville thinks he would find first team prospects at both the Emirates and Old Trafford, both Arsenal and Manchester United have become candidates to sign the 29-year-old.
“I adore Raheem Sterling,” he added. “I am not entirely sure why at the moment Manchester United would regard it as a piece of business looking at their team.” Clearly, he worked very closely with him while I was there.
They have athletes they should test and maximize their potential. There are Amad, Antony, Rashford, and Garnacho among those who cover such regions. If they are losing trust in one or more of those players maybe they would buy Raheem Sterling but it does not strike me at this moment in time as being a necessary acquisition for Manchester United. They have four players they must find form and start themselves.Neville said, ” Arsenal have got Jesus, Trossard and Martinelli who can play on the left side you’ve got Saka on the other side who his so reliable and always available. Sterling might be revitalising his career at title-chasing Arsenal.”
It does not stick out and strike as making logical. Chelsea wants him gone, and given the circumstances over the past two weeks, I can see why she would be keen to get him out.Gary Neville has advised Raheem Sterling to avoid joining Arsenal or Manchester United if he decides to leave Chelsea before the transfer window closes. Chelsea’s new manager has reportedly made it clear to Sterling that he is not part of the club’s future plans, suggesting he should find a new team.
Despite both Arsenal and Manchester United being linked with the 29-year-old winger, Neville questions the logic behind either club pursuing Sterling at this moment. He stated, “I adore Raheem Sterling, but I’m not sure why Manchester United would consider it, given their current squad.” He noted that United already have several attacking talents in Amad, Antony, Marcus Rashford, and Alejandro Garnacho who play in positions Sterling would occupy. Neville emphasized that United should focus on developing these players rather than making a potentially unnecessary acquisition.
Regarding Arsenal, Neville pointed out that they already have strong options on the wings, such as Gabriel Jesus, Leandro Trossard, Gabriel Martinelli, and Bukayo Saka. He mentioned that while Sterling might find an opportunity to revitalize his career at a club like Arsenal, it still doesn’t seem like a logical move considering their current squad depth.
Overall, Neville suggests that Sterling might need to look elsewhere, especially as Chelsea seems eager to offload him.
