(Video) Furious Jose Mourinho involved in heated bust up with the Referee after a controversial decision

Jose Mourinho unleashed a hilarious diatribe against the referee who sent him off during Fenerbahce’s draw with Manchester United.

Referee Clement Turpin sent Mourinho a red card after the hosts had a penalty claim ruled down.

The Fenerbahce manager led the Turkish club’s protests against the decision, which came with the game at 1-1.

When asked about the incident after the match, the 61-year-old told TNT Sports, “I do not want to talk about it.”

He told me something wonderful. He informed me that he could see both the activity in the box and my actions on the touchline.

‘I congratulate him because he is simply fantastic. During the game, at 100 mph, he kept one eye on the penalty issue and one on the bench and my behavior.

‘That is the excuse he has given me. That is why he is considered one of the world’s top referees.

When asked whether he had an opportunity to review the situation and if he still believed it was a penalty, Mourinho replied: “I saw the incident.” I do not discuss the situation’.

Former United midfielder Paul Scholes responded to the interview, saying: “That was better than the game.”

‘He is got his mischievous side back. It was better to watch that version of Jose than the one we saw at Manchester United a few years ago, which was not terrific.

Several Fenerbahce replacements joined Mourinho in requesting a penalty.

Jose Mourinho delivered a classic, tongue-in-cheek response after being sent off during Fenerbahce’s 1-1 draw with Manchester United, expressing his discontent with referee Clement Turpin. Mourinho was red-carded after leading Fenerbahce’s protests against a denied penalty claim when Manuel Ugarte appeared to bring down Bright Osayi-Samuel.

In his post-match comments to TNT Sports, the 61-year-old playfully remarked that Turpin had an impressive ability to monitor both the action on the pitch and his behavior on the sidelines. Mourinho said, “I congratulate him because he is simply fantastic. During the game, at 100 mph, he kept one eye on the penalty issue and one on the bench and my behavior.” His sarcasm was clear, as he credited Turpin’s skill as a top referee, despite the controversial decision.

When pressed further, Mourinho insisted he wouldn’t discuss the penalty claim. Former United star Paul Scholes found Mourinho’s comments entertaining, noting it was “better than the game” itself and a throwback to the charismatic, cheeky Mourinho fans remembered.

The incident highlighted a feisty clash, with Fenerbahce’s bench joining Mourinho in pressing for the penalty, leaving the Turkish side frustrated by Turpin’s refusal to overturn his decision.
